She was a graduate of Grundy County High School and received her BA degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
Kathryn has been a devoted member of the Tyner United Methodist Church since 1969. She was active in the Women’s Sunday School Class, The Truth Seekers and served as chair person for missions.
She was the wife of the late John A. Fletcher and was also preceded in death by a sister, Marianna Daulton.
Survivors include her children, Steven Fletcher (Julie), Nancy Fletcher and Russell Fletcher; sister, Helen Scaglia, Lafayette, IN and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Tyner United Methodist Church, 6805 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421 or tynerumc.org.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Lakewood Memory Gardens East.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
