Dardnell Richard Fale Jr.(Dick), age 74, of Everett, Washington passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020. Dardnell was born November 9,1945 in Bellingham, Washington. He is proceeded in death by both his mom and Dad Iris Hope King and Dardnell Fale Sr. and His brother Arthur Fale. He is survived by His 2 sons William (Bill) Fale (Corinna Fale) and Gregory (Greg) Fale and his sisters Juanita Wellington (Bob) and Patsy Guddat (Jay) and many cousins in the Bellingham area as well as other places.
Dick proudly served his country during the Vietnam War by Joining the Air Force where he served in Supply learning to operate a fork lift along with various other types of equipment. After being discharged he immediately began working at Scott Paper in Everett, Wa. operating a forklift in the shipping department where he worked for 17 Years. After that he began driving for a Taxi/Airporter business called AC Taxi in Marysville, Wa where he later purchased that business and continued to operate it till he was forced out of business by larger companies. Dick began as a volunteer driver for Catholic Community Services and actively participated in their R.S.V.P. program where he also was a volunteer shift manager at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, Wa. He loved being in charge of the info booths at both the blue and red gates in the evenings along with various other opportunities for several years until his health had declined to the point where he was no longer able to continue.
On Tuesday Afternoons he could be faithfully found at Safeway in Marysville enjoying Senior Appreciation day where he liked to socialize with other seniors he'd been friends with for years. Dick would then mosey on down to The Golden Coral for dinner and then onto Kuhnle's Tavern for coke and pull tabs and more socializing.
Dick was a member of the Sound Harley Davidsons HOG group where he and his son Greg shared the love of riding Harleys along with several other members. Together joined at the hip Dick and Greg would participate in as many rides and events as his health allowed. Both had grown to love the strong bonds made with other HOG members.
In Dicks earlier years he became a life time member of the Marysville Moose Lodge until they closed and his membership became a national member. While traveling he would often visit all the different lodges as he didn't have one to call home. occasionally running into some folks that knew his dad as he was a traveling auditor sometimes finding happy memories.
Unable to ride much anymore he pursued a membership with the Everett Eagles and became good friends with several members of the Bandidos motorcycle club and also the Eagle Riders motorcycle club.
He of course loved his coke and pull tabs and visiting with other members while enjoying the food they'd serve up.
After learning that Dick had advanced late stage 4 Prostate Cancer he returned home where Greg and family cared for him using Providence Hospice services for his very short Cancer battle. Together the Bandidos , Pudget Sound Hog and The Eagle Riders along with various other groups all came together to give Dick a parade and a final show of respect. With not even 24 hours to prepare there were 53 motorcycles showing their love and RESPECT for Dick and his family.
The Fale family wishes to thank Providence Hospice of Snohomish County and Akticare Home Health Care for the Awesome and Compassionate in home services they provided Dick and his family.
