Celebrating the life of Howard Nelson Hester. He was born on July 27, 1945 in Houston Texas and he went to be with The Lord June 19, 2020 at the age of 74. Howard lived in Pasadena Texas.
Howard was stricken with Polio at age 5. He was strong willed and he never gave up. He was a fighter, even to the very end. He gave his life to the Lord at age 9 – Revelations 3:20. He was in Agriculture and he had several cows, one named Crownette. In 1964 he entered the Houston Live Stock Show. In 1965 he graduated and went to work on his aunt and uncle’s farm. In 1966 he met his wife and they had 2 children. He worked and retired from Reed Tool Company after 35 years. He was an active member of Monument Baptist Church. He was a good Christian man with a heart of gold. He was an avid fisherman and loved the water.
He is proceeded in death by his parents: William Howard and Annie Bowman Hester; his brother: William Barrett Hester; sisters: Dana Kaye Jones and Deborah Ann Hester. Left to cherish his memory, his brother: Daniel Raye Hester; sister: Tanya Hester Cannon; his son Charles Hester and daughter in law Cindy Hester; daughter: Shawnette Hester Garcia and son in law Albert Garcia; granddaughter: Victoria Fernandez; grandson: Ryan Hester; granddaughter: Christa Hester; granddaughter: Jolee Wallace; granddaughter: Rachel Sheffield; grandsons: John and Samuel Sheffield: 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held July 11, 2020 at Monument Baptist Church located at 3602 East Blvd Deer Park, Texas 77536 at 12pm.
