Virginia Ella Castleberry

Castleberry, Virginia Ella, 88, assisted living caregiver, passed away on Sunday June 28, 2020 in Wichita. Virginia was born the daughter of Ruby and Alma Gore on March 6, 1932 in Oakland, Mississippi. Virginia and Jesse Castleberry were united in marriage in 1948. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. It's been said that one of the greatest decisions that God made for us is who our parents are. Truly, she was a godly mother and loving wife. She is held in great honor by her family and friends. She is now in the arms of her heavenly Father who has the greatest love of all. Family members include her 3 children, 6 grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm on Thursday July 2, 2020. Celebration of life will be 10am on Friday July 3, 2020 both at Hillside Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th St. N. Wichita. Private family burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wichita.
