Char was born October 13, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Thomas Gagner and Lois Gagner (Letten), who both proceeded her.
As a lifelong Chicagoan, Char worked in many customer service roles in her career. An avid sports fan, Char loved watching football and hockey always cheering for her favorite teams the Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Blackhawks. She was a devoted “auntie” to all of her nieces and nephews.
Char is survived by her sisters, Susan, Lynna and LuAnn (Flores), brother in law Francisco Flores, nieces Cheryl (Yarbrough), Dawn (Sherman), Amanda (Frystak), nephew Ethan (Flores), great nephews, Brandon (Yarbrough), Kyle (Yarbrough), William (Frystak), Wyatt (Frystak) and great niece Nellie (Frystak) as well as great-great niece Ariana (Yarbrough) and great-great nephews Brandon Ayden (Yarbrough), Austyn (Yarbrough), Amir (Yarbrough) and Armani (Yarbrough). Visitation Wednesday July 29, 2020, from 10:00 am until time of Service 1:00 pm at Ridge Funeral Home, (Edward A. Tylka, Manager/Director), 6620 W Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Interment at Fairmont Willow Hills Cemetery in Willow Spring, IL.
