Rosie was brought up in North Denver and lived there until 1965 when she, Bob and the girls moved to Wheat Ridge. She worked for the Colorado State Racing Commission and then was a Bank Examiner for the State of Colorado. She was the first female Bank Examiner in the history of the State of Colorado. Quite an accomplishment. She retired from The State and within just a couple of years she was asked to be the Internal Auditor for the Southwest State Bank which was then sold to Vectra banks and she ultimately retired from Vectra.
Rosie loved gardening and caring for her pond and her many gorgeous flowers on the hills in her lovely backyard. She and Bob built quite an oasis and she enjoyed entertaining friends and family as much as she could.
She was a member of the Applewood Baptist Church for many, many years and served the Lord in various capacities over the years.
