Johnny was an Allen Volunteer Fire Department Member for 15 years where he was past chief. He worked for Delmarva Power and Light for 30 years. He enjoyed woodcarving.
He is survived by sons, Johnny Lee Wooters, Jr. (Holly) and Josh Phan; two grandchildren, Camden Wooters and Presley Wooters; brother, Bruce Hammond (Patty); three sisters, Barbra Horner (Jeff), Bonny Arendall (Glenn), Janet Truitt (Hank); and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Katie Phan Wooters and a brother, Robert Hammond.
Graveside services will be held Friday, October 16, 2020 at 12 p.m. at Springhill Memory Gardens, Route 50 in Hebron. Following the graveside services, A Celebration of Life will be at Pittsville Fire Hall at 1:30 p.m. in Pittsville, MD. COVID mandatory guidelines, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
