Cristobal Molina, 74, of Santa Ana, California beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his children and his wife on November 15, 2020 in Newport Beach, California.
Cristobal was born on December 24, 1945 in Piedra Parada, Guerrero, Mexico to Arnulfo Molina and Sofia Aviles. He grew up in Piedra Parada and moved to Mexico City in 1965 at the age of 20 to live with his Tia Joaquina Aviles. He married Carmen Molina on September 15, 1972 and they began their life together in the United States. He worked for Cherry Aerospace for 32 years.
Cristobal had a passion for travel visiting Europe, Asia, and Latin America but his favorite was always returning to his native country of Mexico where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed visiting in December to celebrate Day of Virgin Guadalupe, December 12, and also to celebrate his birthday with his siblings. Cristobal will be remembered by many as the patriarch of the family, a generous, loving and dedicated family man and friend.
Cristobal is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Antonio & Fulgencio Molina.
Cristobal is survived by his wife, Carmen Molina; his children and their spouses, Erica Garibay (Gilbert), Eduardo Molina (Brenda), Christina O’Campo (Saul), and Edith Rivera (John). Cristobal will be missed by his 8 grandchildren, Isaiah Garibay, Joshua O’Campo, Noah Garibay, Anthony O’Campo, Diego Garibay, Sofia O’Campo, Luna Rivera and Ezra Molina, his brother Cirilo Molina, his sister Guadalupe Molina Pliego, along with his aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5:00pm -8:00pm Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Westminster Memorial Park and Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00pm at St Anne’s Catholic Church on December 4, 2020 with burial preceding at Westminster Memorial Park.
