My father’s funeral at the Fort Smith National Cemetery 12AM Mountain time Monday  20 May 2019  

Beryl B. Wolfson is retired from the U. S. Army as an E-7 after 22 years of service. He was a radio operator and forward observer at many of his duty stations. Mr. Wolfson served in North Africa, Italy, France, Germany and a veteran of both the Korean War and World War II. The Republic of France awarded him the Knight of Legion of Honor Medal and he received the Medal of Excellence from General Petreaus of the U. S. Army. Beryl also received 5 Good Conduct Medals and the Basic MSL badge. He was a native of New Orleans LA, the son of the late Morris Wolfson and Florence Canovsky Wolfson.

Thank you God for giving us opportunity to share time with Mr. Aranda. Through time and many wonderful family experiences I received beautiful memories of him being so loving and caring with my parents. brothers and sisters. He always made dvds of family get togethers for each of us.  One special time at my brother's and sister-n-law 's house I told him he reminded me of Robert DeNiro the famous actor. He laughed and stated "Hell No I'm too handsome to look like him and then turned to my dad and said ain't that right George"!  Now my comfort is that he is in heaven with my parents and in my heart they are all be watching over us! Thank you Mr. A. for making such an impact in my family lives.

Always a chuckle for me as he grabbed my hand and kissed it, and called me Mijo or Mesican, a name he gave me as a child.  He was family to me and Jerry+ and now Jerry is having a toast with him in heaven.  I remember running over to the house to look for the finger he sawed off while they rushed him to the hospital. There was nothing he couldn’t build, nothing he couldn’t do. He was one of my life’s heroes, and I loved him like a dad.  Jerry and I both cried for him each time he went to the hospital, and that was years ago.  Thank you Jesus for giving him nine lives. He was a blessing and I treasure the memories.  🙏😔🙏  Rest in peace and give my Jerry a bear hug! 

Thank you Uncle Tony for being such a UNIQUE Husband to Aunt Benny,  Father to your 5 daughters (never a son, that's why you called us all "mijos"), your son-in-laws, grandkids, great-grandkids, Brothers & Sisters, Nephews, Nieces, Compadres & Comadres,& the list goes on & on... especially a FRIEND TO ALL!!!I will remember you ALWAYS when we were at Abuelita's Patro's funeral & you came up behind me as I arrived at her casket for viewing. You hugged me & said she was the "BEST MAMA IN THE WORLD"! My heart was already in shreds as I knew that I had lost "MY BEST FRIEND" in the whole world!
