Gloria (Vincent) Dowell, age 86, of Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Florida, passed away on December 24 after a long and courageous battle with Mesothelioma. As a child she grew up in Methuen later moving to Andover to raise a family where she lived for 30 years. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, MacIntosh Business School, & studied at Lowell Tech, & Merrimack College. She was employed by The Prudential Insurance Company for 10 years, left to raise her family and returned to work as the manager of The Professional Business Exchange Answering Service for another 10 years. Later in life she pursued her passion of Interior Design and earned her degree from Sheffield School of Design. She was a member of Our Lady Star of The Sea Parish in Marblehead, as well as St. Mary’s Church in Rockledge, FL where she proudly was a member of Our Lady Rosary Makers making over 10,000 Rosary Beads for the needy. She was predeceased by her brothers Gerard & Roger Vincent, and sisters Pauline Hebert & Violette Doherty. She is survived by her husband: D’Arcy, daughter: Christina Rothwell & husband Stephen of New Ipswich, NH; son: Geoffrey Dowell and wife Kim of Andover, MA, daughter: Natalie Brown & husband Barry of Marblehead, MA, Grandchildren: Eric & Scott Rothwell, Katelyn Dowell, Molly Dowell Weaver, & Cameron & Taylor Brown whom she loved all so very much.
