Gayle moved to Conroe in 1974 with her young family. She was an early member of the Fibromyalgia Association of Houston, where she served as secretary and treasurer, she helped organize events and even helped man their hotline for many years until it's disbandment in 2018. She was also a member of the Dogwood Forest Civic Club and proudly donated to PBS Houston and the Montgomery County Food Bank. Gayle enjoyed the occasional craft and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael J. Moses in 2005 and her parents. Gayle is survived by her children Shawn Moses, Michael Moses and fiance' Maricel Gaskin, Sheryl Lucius and husband William D., granddaughters Macy and Michelle Moses, brother William "Bill" Gibbs and wife Debbie, brother in law Jack Moses and wife Johnelle, niece Marcia Bruning and husband David and son Koen, niece Amy Moses-Salinas and husband Jesse and sons Champ and James, and niece Beth Moses.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home with entombment to follow in the Garden Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Friday, January 8th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
