He will be deeply missed by his wife Caroline, and is predeceased by his first wife Ruth Brown.
Father to Gary, John, James Jr., Paul, Anita, Aaron and Colin.
Survived by his grandchildren, he was the oldest of 8 children and emigrated to Canada from Holland in 1949. James worked many manufacturing and sales jobs throughout Dundas and Hamilton before starting his own company Brinks Supplies Ltd. He retired in 1989 and soon after became ordained in the Evangelical Church Alliance. He founded Harvest Time Ministries and did many missionary trips to Trinidad, Haiti, Curacao, and Guyana.
