Gerda M. Picco

PICCO GERDA M. PICCO (Age 87) On October 4, 2017 in Arlington, VA after a short illness. Wife of the late John F. Picco, Gerda is survived by her step-son Jack and Ann Picco, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Gerda is also survived by her brother Frank E. Mehwald and sister Margaret E. Bigsby and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 14th from 2:00P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, VA 22203. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 15th at 2:00 P.M. at the United Church., 1920 G St., NW, Washington, DC 20006. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Gerda’s name to Capital Caring (Hospice) 1950 N. Glebe Rd., Suite 500, Arlington, VA 22203 or to the United Church Arrangements under the direction of Murphy Funeral Homes, Arlington, VA.
