Olive Duke Kyle

Olive Duke Kyle, born February 12, 1927 in Hanover County to the late Henry B. Duke and Elizabeth Duke Wingfield passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at age 95. She was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Duke; her sister, Margaret Caudle; and her son, William "Randy" Trent. She was the widow of Clarence Watts Kyle to whom she was married for forty years. She is survived by a son, William W. Kyle (Brenda); a daughter, Mary Kyle Smith (Eddie); and a son Thomas M. Trent; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Kyle was a member of First Baptist Church in Ashland since 1948. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Ashland Library Fund or the First Baptist Church "OK Chorale". The family will receive friends from 10am-10:45am on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at First Baptist Church Ashland, 800 Thompson St., Ashland, VA 23005 where a Funeral service will follow at 11am.
