Dorothy R Prillaman

Mrs. Dorothy Rorrer Prillaman, age 93 of Collinsville, VA., passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. She was born on July 11, 1925 in High Point, N.C., a daughter of the late William C. Paschal and the late Mattie Mae Joyce Paschal. She was retired from Tultex. She was a member of Hill Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Calvin “Bill” Rorrer and Claude Prillaman. She is survived by four nieces, Shirley Teague, Suzanne Slade, Jean Rorrer, Delilah Deacon, one nephew, Lester Rorrer and other nieces and nephews, She is also survived by her loving caregiver and friend, Melvin Holley. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Collins Funeral Home with Reverend Jack Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family suggest memorial donations be made to Hill Memorial Baptist Church, 2359 Appalachian Drive, Martinsville, VA 24112.
