Heaven became a even more precious place on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 when Neilene Sue (Crouse)Nichol, age 70, of Navarre, Florida passed away. Neilene was born February 25, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley (Berry) Bea and Ivan and Bonnie Crouse; grandchild, Blake Slaybaugh; infant sister, Marianne Crouse; and brother, Stephen Crouse.
Neilene graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1968. She worked for Swift Eckrich in Indianapolis for 9 years and Disney World for 11 years. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Neilene is survived by her son, Billy (Kim) Slaybaugh of Navarre, Florida; daughter, Katie West of Beech Grove, Indiana; brother, Michael (Jackie) Crouse of Fortville, Indiana; sister, Cheryl (Jim) Beatty of Beech Grove, Indiana; and grandchildren, Samanth, Meghan, Rylie, Eric, Jade, and Autumn.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 1301 Main St, Beech Grove, Indiana 46107, followed by her Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.
