Holly Renee Covey

Holly Renee Covey, 47, of Bedford died in her home on Monday, October 28, 2019. She was born November 19, 1971 in Martinsville to Thomas Lee Holsapple and Linda L. Hupp Holsapple Lentz. She was the co-owner of RC Drywall and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Rick Covey of Bedford; two sons, Jon Babbs of Bedford and Justin (fiancé Ashley Nicole Fox) Babbs of Bloomington; a sister, Shelly (husband Lee) Hobbs of Mitchell; brother-in-law, Mike (wife Christy) Covey of Martinsville; nephew, Steven Paige; niece, Autumn Paige; step-sister, Crissy Lentz; her uncle, Terry Schmidt of Bloomington; her aunt, Cheryl Browning of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Zoey, Eli, Branson, Jupiter and Theo; her step father, Thomas Lee Lentz of Mitchell; four step children, Levi Covey of Bedford, Chelse (husband Andrew) Soliday of Pensacola, Florida, Rachelle O’Malley of Avon and Ashley Covey of Bedford; her niece, Heather (husband Tony) Gilliland; a great niece, Chole; and two great nephews, Chase and Covey; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and mother and her aunt, Donnette Johnson. Holly cherished spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed drag racing with Rick and her friends, playing Bingo and going to the casinos. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastors Charles and Carol Johnson officiating in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St, Bloomington, Burial will follow in Crawford Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
