Veronica Diane (Tyirich) Bogan

Veronica Diane Tyirich Bogan, 75, of Ellettsville died Friday, October 19, 2018 in her home. She was born October 17, 1943 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania to Stanley Tyirich, Sr. and Helen Jovanovich Tyirich. She was a retired children’s protective social worker having worked in Hamilton County. Survivors include her two sons, Bill (former wife, Stacy) Bogan of Lafayette and Todd Bogan of Moab, Utah; a brother, Stanley Tyirich, Jr. of Harrison, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Bryce and Zoe Bogan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Veronica enjoyed hiking, backpacking and anything outdoors. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Abe Martin Lodge at Brown County State Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Friends are encouraged to consider making a donation in Veronica’s name to a children’s or nature charity of the givers choice.
