Wendy Marie Edington

Wendy Marie Edington, 44, formerly of Bloomington, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Sellersburg Healthcare Facility. She was born March 22, 1977, in Bloomington to Dan L. and Mary Anne Edington. She had worked as a Greeter at Sam's Club until 2014. Survivors include her mother, Mary Anne Edington of Martin County; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan L. Edington; her sponsor and uncle, Richard Wegner; her uncle, James Wegner; a cousin, Tommy Wegner; her paternal grandparents, Noah and Gretchen Edington; and her maternal grandparents, Theresa and Harvey Wegner. Wendy was of the Christian Faith. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School North and was a member of Different Abilities club before it was disbanded. There will be a Private Graveside Service at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel. If friends so desire, Memorial Contributions may be made in Wendy's name to your local Animal Shelter.
