Martha F. Durr

Martha F. Durr, 90, of Carmel, entered into rest on September 16, 2021 at her home. She was born on March 9, 1931 in Saint Hedwig, TX to the late Andrew Henry and Emma (Markgraf) Pierdolla. She was the devoted wife of 51 years to Rex H. Durr who passed in 2003. She was preceded in death by daughters Linda Driscol and Teresa Lowe. She is survived by eight children, Judith Smith, Bridget Smith, Denise DeLong, John Durr, Wanda Clayton, Rex Durr Jr., Jeff Durr, and Jason Durr. She will be sadly missed by 11 grandchildren. Martha was a longtime and dedicated member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church where she was a sacristan, volunteer and caretaker of the rectory. Visitation for Martha will begin at 12:30 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church on Thursday, September 23rd A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 pm in the church.
