Caswell "Loyd" Braziel Jr. 69 of Scipio, Indiana passed away Sunday November 17 in Azalia, Indiana
Loyd was born in Rome, Georgia November 1, 1950, the Son of Caswell Braziel, Sr. and Stella (Frances) Cristall Braziel. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with a Honorable discharge. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Pharmacy, he was employed by Emory University Hospital of Decatur, Georgia. He was a very big Georgia Bulldogs Football fan. He enjoyed wildlife and took many awesome pictures, enjoyed riding his side by side around his property that was very important to him. He loved music of all kinds and attended many concerts. His favorite so far had been Paul McCartney. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his Family. He is survived by his Sister Fran Jordan of Rome, Georgia, Ann Herring of Brookhaven, Georgia, Cris (Graylyn) Abner of Azalia, Indiana.He enjoyed a feral cat that visited him often which he named The Cat. Steve was his best friend and neighbor. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter Mary Roseane Braziel and Sister Gladys Duvall.
In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated. There will be no services at this time but there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
