Delores Jean Bode

Delores J. Bode, 73, of Columbus, Indiana passed away on Saturday September 14. She was born June 17, 1946 in Jackson County to Paul and Mary Gohn. She retired from Target Store after 25 years and was a member of Garden City Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, and serving others through Christ. Delores is survived by her husband, Michael C. Bode; her son Christopher P. Voss; her sisters, Martha Lawless and Emogene (Jim) Poore; her grandchildren, Selena, Hayden, Ethan, Kerith, Gloria, Paul, and Logan; nieces, Cindy, Kim, Kathy, and Kelly; nephews, Donnie and Kevin, and several great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service for Delores will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Pastor Brian Gilroy officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.
