MaryAnne McClure

MaryAnne DeFazio, McClure, passed away on September 15, 2020.
She had been a resident at Whitewater Commons Senior Living in Liberty, Indiana for the past year.
MaryAnne was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, October 21, 1936. She married Ralph B. McClure December 14, 1962. Mother of Ralph Jeffrey McClure, Brownsburg, Indiana, Gilda McClure Lewis of Connersville, Indiana and mother in law to Jerry Lee Lewis. MaryAnne is loving grandmother to Jeffrey Keith McClure and his wife, Emily, Brayton Scott McClure and his wife, Melissa, Allyson Jane McClure and Harley Tyler Lewis and great grandmother to Jaxon Samuel Keith McClure, Ashlyn Marie Colson, Jena Marie Love, Mia Elizabeth Love.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, a brother Vincent DeFazio, a sister Gilda DeFazio, Palano, a brother William J. DeFazio, her grandparents Vincenzo and Gilda DeFazio and a much loved niece Anne Elizabeth Palano. She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren and a sister Frances DeFazio McParland.
For several years MaryAnne was employed as the homemaker for the Fayette County Welfare Department, teaching young mothers how to better care for their children and their homes while providing ways for them to connect with family services.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Connersville for over 50 years, Connersville Country Club, Brookhill Golf Club, Friends of the Library, Red Hats, and a very special group of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church Music Memorial Fund and the Fayette County Foundation Soccer Fields.
Rest well Mary Anne, in the arms of the lord.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Meyer Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor Gwen Pew from Grand Avenue United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery in Connersville. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. Following the CDC and State COVID guidelines (masks are required and social distancing will be followed).
