Stephen Michael Godjas

Stephen Michael Godjas, 51, of Culpeper, VA passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 in UVA Hospital, Charlottesville, VA. Steve was born in Summit, NJ on February 22, 1967 to Joseph Godjas and Mae Becker Godjas. He was a security officer with UVA-Culpeper Hospital. Apart from his family and home, his greatest passions in life were his Asian studies; including achieving a 3rd degree black belt in karate and the American Civil War. Surviving Mr. Godjas is his wife Gillian and her mum, Margaret. He is preceded in death by a brother, Peter. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Orange County Animal Shelter, 11362 Porter Road, Orange, VA 22960.
