Grace Louise Engle

Grace Louise Engle, 93, of Hawesville, KY, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at Oakwood Health Campus in Tell City, IN. She was born June 19, 1926, in Colorado Springs, CO, to the late Harry and Viola (Ackers) Risley. Grace was a very strong Christian woman and prayer warrior. She loved the Lord and loved her church. She enjoyed people and entertaining. Grace loved working crossword puzzles, sewing and knitting, and singing. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Idelle Moss. Grace is survived by her husband of 74 years, Wayne J. Engle; children: Claudia Darlene Engle Serocki (John) of Pueblo, CO., Connie Engle Eaton (Larry) of Hawesville, KY, Paula Marie Engle Rasch of Hopkins, MI, Dennis Wayne Engle (Pamela) of Lakewood, CO, and Ronald Gene Engle (Victoria), of Rush, CO; 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Tell City First Church of the Nazarene, 17 Lausanne Court, Tell City, IN 47586, officiated by Pastor Charles Areson, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, IN. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Tell City First Church of the Nazarene.
