Joetta Faye Burress, 56, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born on December 13, 1964 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Joseph and Lottie (Sanders) Payne.
She was a stay at home mom who enjoyed spending time with her kids and family. Joetta enjoyed fishing, softball, playing bingo, cards, and board games.
Joetta was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Burress; children, Derrick Houghton (Alicia), Amber Houghton, David Houghton, Michael Dale Burress, Ronnie Dale Burress, Christy Cardin (Cory), and Austin Burress; brothers, Robert Payne, Richard Hill, John Paul Hill, Robert and Jay Hill; grandchildren, Bittle Hall, David Houghton, and Daren Houghton; nieces, Hannah Payne and Serenity Payne; and nephew, Dakota Payne.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
