Alexander Funeral Home-East Chapel
Ora Donetta Epperson, whose embodiment of loving kindness was a gift to all who knew her, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Donetta’s radiant spirit and personal integrity will be remembered by all who encountered her professionally through the construction business and as founder of Landmark Realty & Development, as well as those in Evansville and beyond to whom she was an ever supportive and inspiring friend. She was a founding member of the Evansville Dance Theater and the Musicians Club and served on many boards and committees. She had a servant’s heart and was always eager to help make the world a better and happier place. She loved being with her family and friends enjoying great food, great music, and great conversation. She loved learning and was always researching something new. She was loaded with energy and light and moved through life in HARMONY and with a joyful spirit.
She is survived by her son, John Epperson, daughters, Stacy Stevens and Jessica Epperson-Lusty (Paul), granddaughters, Grace, Mercy and Ella and brother, Paul Bertrand Powell.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Ella Powell and her sister, Carolyn Cravens.
