Wanda Jett of Evansville passed away August 7, 2022, at West River Health Campus. Wanda was born February 9, 1941, in Bowling Green, Kentucky to James Robert and Madelyn London.
She graduated from Henderson City High and graduated from The Kentucky School of Banking at the University of Kentucky. She worked as Executive Vice President and Cashier at Farmers Bank and Trust Henderson and retired from Old National Bank after 32 years of banking. Wanda was an avid reader, cat lover, enjoyed coloring, gardening and working in her yard.
In addition to her mother and father she was preceded in death by sibling Ronnie London of St Louis, MO.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Byron. Daughter Peggy Davis (Jim) stepdaughter Andrea Laycock (Ben) grandchildren Austin Belanger, Finley and Harper Laycock. Brother Keith London (Janis) and nieces Christy, Ann, Meg, nephew Paul and sister-in-law Pam London.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Jerry Clark with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or Evansville Humane Society.
