Arnold M. Greider

ARNOLD M. GREIDER, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. Born June 11, 1923, he was a son of the late Howard and Theda Greider. He was a Test Chemist for General Electric and served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Southwest Conservation Club, American Legion 241, G.E. Club, V.F.W., G.E. softball team, and G.E. Athletic Club. He was Superintendent of Sunday school in the 1960's. He is survived by his sons, Steven (Betty) Greider of Fort Wayne and Donald J. Greider of Angola; grandchildren, Nicole Hill, Rachel Greider and Michael Greider; great-grandchild, Christen Greider; and great-great- grandchildren, Carter Greider and Elijah Greider. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Beck Greider. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, with calling one hour prior, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46809). Preferred memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
