Barbara Jean Axson

Barbara Jean Axson, 87, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Canterbury Nursing Home and Rehab in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Ralph and Dorothy (Neely) Franklin. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her children, Cindy (George) Bickis, Vicky Bollinger, Doug (Wendy) Boyles, Tammy Bauer (Phil Palmateer), Dennis (Cindy) Boyles, Darrell (Nancy) Jenkins; grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren (with one on the way); and siblings, Butch Franklin, Bonnie Fischer, Barbara was also preceded in death by Husbands, Donald Jenkins, Earl Axson; Son, Donald Dean Jenkins; Brothers, Raymond Franklin, Barry Franklin, Roger Franklin; Sister, Beverly Ott; and Grandson, Jeremy Boyles. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home (1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne), with visitation at 11:00am until time of the service. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
