Gregory D. McCampbell

Gregory D. McCampbell was 62 years of age when he passed from this life on Thursday, December 1, 2022 while traveling through Tennessee. He was a native of Marion, Alabama and was a son of the late Junie Lee McCampbell and Elizabeth Suttle born March 26, 1960. He attended Central High School and Concordia Lutheran High School. Greg was known to many as "G-Money," "Gorgeous G" and in the world of trucking, "Firecracker." He loved fishing, family gatherings, his trucks, dancing and his grandchildren. He simply loved his family and friends. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Brenda L. McCampbell; sons, Melvin (LaTosha) LeSure, Gregory Easley, Michael (April) Easley; Antione (Niaka) Easley; daughters, April Easley, Roberta Easley, Yolonda (Jeffery) Meadows, Tammy Williams and Cynthia Lesure (Trell Hamlet); a sister, Sharon (Larry) Reeder; brothers, Michael (Tracy) McCampbell and Geerel Knight; special cousins as sisters, Seretta Suttle, Angela Lawson and Erica Felix; 37 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Greg was preceded in death also by a son-in-law, Calvin Williams and other relatives. A funeral service for Gregory will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. A visitation will occur Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
