June Gracey Fitzgerald

June Gracey Fitzgerald, 93, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing Home in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in New Britain, CT to the late Frederick and Margaret (Gracey) Volz. June married Joseph Wm Fitzgerald on October 2, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2009. She worked as the executive secretary at Concordia Theological Seminary and retired in 1990. June was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Surviving are her son, Joseph (Mary); daughter, Margaret "Meg" (Roger) Duffey; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grand children. Funeral service 11:00am Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home with calling from 10:00am to 11:00am prior to the service. Burial in Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice in June's name.
