Robby L. Carswell

On Saturday, May 4, 2019, Robby Lee Carswell, 48, answered when his name was called and he departed this earthly life at Lutheran Hospital here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with his family at his bedside. Born in Brent, Alabama, Robby spent most of his life in Fort Wayne. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jill Carswell of Fort Wayne; his daughter, Tenisha Carswell of Corona; brothers, Rufas Carswell and family of Georgia, Artie Hides and family of California, and Lawrence Awoniyi and family of Fort Wayne; sister, Tammy Hides and family. Robby was blessed with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that he loved and will miss him dearly. Robby was preceded in death by his mother, Johnnie Mae Williams; father, Rufas Carswell Sr.; brothers, Johnny Earl Williams and Mark Hides. Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
