Roy E. Lehman, Sr.

Roy E. Lehman, Sr., 72, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. Roy served in the Army from 1965-1967. He had worked at GE wire mill as an inspector, International Harvester, Maintenance Management, Lincoln Food Service and Messer and Lehman Construction prior to owning and operating Lehman's Hot Mobile Wash. His family called him "the Jack of all trades" because he enjoyed tinkering; he believed there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. Roy had a deep love for his family and enjoyed time at the family pool, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Barbara; sons, Roy E. (Cyndi) Lehman, Jr, Corey (Katie) Lehman; daughter, Tana (David) Bostic; twelve grandchildren: Amanda Lehman, Denise (Paul) Grote, Brittany Lehman, Kayla Bostic, Colin Lehman-Wiblin, Roy E. Lehman, III, Cheyanne Lehman, Brandon Bostic, Alan Bostic, Alyssa Lehman, Aaron Lehman and Danica Bostic; four great grandchildren: Trevor John, Mason, MacKenzie, Roy IV; siblings Howard (Kathy) Lehman, Judy Beck, Jerry (Judy) Lehman, Derald (Melody) Lehman, Karen Hudda, Connie Lehman, Michael (Lynette) Lehman and Terry (Molly) Lehman; sister in-laws, Gloria (Regina Hamilton) Cook, Peggy Cook; brother in-law Leon (Lavern) Cook, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Roy was preceded in death his parents Donald D. and Edna V. Lehman, brother Ronald (Rita) Lehman and brother in-law Raymond Beck.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
