Samuel John Fogwell

Samuel John Fogwell, 69, of rural Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at home. He was born March 15, 1949 to John and Gwendolyn (Kelly) Fogwell of Bluffton, IN. He was a lifelong farmer and also worked in general contracting. He attended Zanesville United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Adam (Melanie) Fogwell of Roanoke, Seth (Holly) Fogwell, Connie (Brent Davis) Fogwell, and Noel (Teresa) Fogwell all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Alyssa Fogwell, Brandon Fogwell, Madison Lyon, Kendall Fogwell, Jacob Fogwell, and Sophia Davis; and a brother, Norm (Mary) Fogwell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane (Clauser) Fogwell in 2008. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Zanesville United Methodist Church, 11811 Wayne Street, Zanesville, IN 46799. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Fogwell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorial may be made to Zanesville United Methodist Church’s Children’s Ministry.
