NAVE-BOWIE, Shirley Jean, Age 80 of Nashville, TN formerly native of Stafford County, VA passed away Oct. 28, 2017
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Raymond Bowie Sr; parents, Richard Roderick and Lola Nave, and 3 siblings.
Survived by her children, Jack (Karen) Glenn Nave, Shirley Ann Paige, William (Leigh Ann) Raymond Bowie, Jr., Ronald (Diane) Lee Bowie and Kenneth (Nancy) Wayne Bowie; grandchildren, Karen Elizabeth Nave, Jack Nave, Jr., Charles Patten, Jr., Christopher Gallegos, Kimberly Gallegos, Monica Paige, James Thomas (J.T.) Paige, William Bowie, III, Melanie Bowie, Morgan Bowie, Matthew Bowie, Amy Alexander, Terri Maita, Joy Bowie, Rose Violett and Sheila Joyce; 29 great grandchildren, sister-in-law’s, Becky Nave, Delores Bowie and Jane Samuels, special caregiver, Karen Martinez.
Shirley Paige’s mom was her rock and now her angel. Best friends for eternity. She loved Gospel and country music, poetry and her cats.
Visitation will be at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 1621 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA, Friday Nov. 3, 2017 from 4-8pm and Saturday from 11-1pm and service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be at Nave Family Cemetery in King George, VA
Pallbearers will be Carl Maita, David Alexander, Joey Stuczynski, Roderick Nave, Matthew Nave and Travis Turner. Mark Wright will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
