Carolyn Jane Hefley

Carolyn Jane Hefley, age 95, of Clear Lake, Fremont, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her daughter's home in Auburn, Indiana. She was born on March 9, 1929 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Walter and Sophfia (Miller) Rudd. Carolyn was a Muncie Central High School graduate. She married Lewis William "Bill" Hefley on September 27, 1946 in Muncie, Indiana. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1993. In 1960 Bill and Carolyn moved to Clear Lake, Indiana. Carolyn loved to water Ski, ride snowmobiles, horse riding, dancing, and fishing. Carolyn was a real estate agent for 35 years. Survivors include her children, Ginny (Jack) Kessler of Sun City, Florida, Lori (Denny) Fulton of Auburn, Indiana, a daughter-in-law, Nancy Hefley of Fremont, Indiana, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hefley a son, George Hefley, her parents, Walter and Sophfia Rudd, and a sister, Anna Richardson. Memorial Services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Clear Lake Lutheran Church. Rev. Jeffrey Corder will officiate the service. Visitation will be held prior to the Memorial Service from 12 pm until 1 pm Saturday June 29, 2024 at the church. Burial will follow the service at the Clear Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery.
