Janice Rene McCullough

Janice Rene McCullough, 40, of Indianapolis passed away on February 27, 2020. Janice was born in Indianapolis on July 29, 1979, the daughter of Michael L and Janice Marie (Ferris) Kortz. Janice Liked flowers and she always enjoyed helping her father work outside. Survivors include her father and mother, Michael and Kitty Kortz; five children, Cheyanne, Christopher, Cassie and Shelby McCullough, and Cameron Maidwell, all of Indianapolis. A brother Uriah Kortz, Fillmore; three sisters, Mary Ann Ferguson, and Stacy Embry, both of Indianapolis, and Amy Wallace, Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother; two sisters, Shelby Kortz and Annie Benefiel; and a brother Michael Kortz. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Reverend Joseph Kortz officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday. At her request a cremation will take place at a later date. Memories may be shared with the family at www.BittesandHurt.com.
