Marjorie Pearl Bowman, 84, Greencastle, passed away Friday, February 02, 2018, at Mill Pond Health Campus.
Marjorie was born in Indianapolis on April 13, 1933, the daughter of Victor Williams and Helen (Biriley) Fausey.
Mrs. Bowman worked in the Bookkeeping Department for First National Bank of Cloverdale until her retirement in 1982. She also worked as Cafeteria Manager for Cloverdale High School for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Greencastle.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Davis, Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Bradley Davis, (wife-Amanda), Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Loreena Powell, (husband-Tim), Cloverdale, Carin Haywood, (husband-Scott), Cloverdale, Vance Davis, Cloverdale, and Evan Davis Cloverdale; eight great grandchildren, Lindsey and Christian Davis, Davis and Anna Powell, Skylar Price, Madison Burton, Keelie Price, and Savannah Payne; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Durnell, (husband-Jack).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Lorin Bowman; and a son, Gary Bowman.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with Pastor Daniel McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery. Friends may call at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 or one hour prior to time of service on Thursday.
