Shelby Jean Woessner, 81, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.
She was born July 14, 1937 in Harlan County, Kentucky, the daughter of King David and Louise (Parker) Rogers.
Shelby was a homemaker and a member of the Nazarene Church of Monrovia.
She is survived by her companion, Dale Wallace; children, Darlene (husband, William) Duke, Glenda (husband, Rick) Walden, Wanda (husband, Bill) Hart, Lorna (husband, Michael) Rogers, Garry (wife, Megan) Woessner, Billy Dixon; and Jearl (wife, Ruby) Dixon; a sister, Anna Vera (husband, Curtis) Cope; brother, Walter (wife, Mary) Rogers; stepson, Richard Wallace; 29 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Clinton Falls Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 -8:00 PM on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the funeral home.
