Debra "Debi" Denise (Staton) Liberty

Debra (Debi) Staton Liberty, 56, of Hampton Virginia passed away comfortably in her home surrounded by family on September 4th, 2019. Debi was born January 18, 1963 and has been a lifelong resident of Hampton. She was an amazing Maw-Maw, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She attended Kecoughtan High School and had a career in the medical field throughout her life. She is survived by her children, George Liberty Jr. (Kaitlyn) and Lyndsey Rapoza ( Nicholas); Grandson, Emerson Liberty; Mother, Dean Goss Staton; Brother, Mike Staton (Penny); and Nephew, Michael Staton. She is proceeded in death by grandmother and grandfather Alma and Theria Goss and her father, Jimmy Staton. A celebration of Debi's life will be held 6:30 pm, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. The family will greet with friends following the service in the funeral home. She has fought a long medical battle and she is now at peace free of pain. We love you, to the moon and back Mom.
