Dale E. Kneubuhler, 91, of Woodburn, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at The Cedars, Leo. Born June 20, 1926 in Woodburn, he was a son of the late Daniel and Lola (Darling) Kneubuhler. A graduate of Woodburn High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic. He was a lifelong farmer and also was a fuel oil truck deliverer with Standard Oil for many years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. On June 28, 1951, he married the love of his life, Donna (Hershberger) Kneubuhler, who resides in Woodburn. Dale’s passion was farming; he also enjoyed machine repair on his equipment and golfing in his younger years. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ruth Mueller of Rockford, Mich.; 17 nieces and nephews, and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces; and great-great nephews. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Edna, Helen Boterf, Donald, and Merlin; and brother-in-law, Ken Mueller. Funeral Service will be 11:00am on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 18330 SR 37, Harlan, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Amy Beitelschees-Albers officiating. Calling will also be 4-8pm on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, 17629 SR 37, Harlan. Burial at Scipio Cemetery, Harlan. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
