Bettye Lou Foy

Bettye Lou (Woods) Foy, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away March 14, 2020. Bettye was born in Garfield, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jesse and America Woods. She retired after 37 years from the State of Indiana where she was the Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Insurance. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wilford Lee Foy; and her granddaughter Ashley and great-grandson, Zachary. Bettye is survived by her daughters, Cathleen Rene Alva and her husband Richard and Cynthia Michelle Miller; Crystal Terrell and her husband Jerry, Carol Foy and son, Dave Foy; grandchildren, Angelina Bautista and her husband David, Alisa Thomas and her husband Morris, Ali Alva and Abigaill Miller; 9 great-grandchildren, Alejandro, Sofia, Brianna, Nico, Anamaria, Giovanni, Isiah, Ariana and Marisa and many other relatives. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with burial at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020 in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, Kentucky
