Byron Karl Sutton

Byron K. Sutton was born on October 17, 1948 in Clayton, Missouri and adopted by Paul and Judy Sutton. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1966 in Marshall, Illinois. After graduation, he joined the Navy in 1966 where he served until 1969 when he was honorably discharged. Byron went on to become an LPN, the owner of Training Zone Gym, and a surgical technician. He was a man who enjoyed telling cheesy jokes, sharing stories, lifting weights and doing whatever he could to lift the spirits of those around him. Byron departed this life on April 7, 2017 and will forever be missed by his wife, Vera Hawk; his children, Ian, Heather, and Heath (Anne Chrzanowski) Sutton and Jeremy (Breanne) Hawk and Kelly (Raymond) Armstrong; his grandchildren, Katelynne, Karsyn, and Seth Worthington and Kaleb Weber, Rayley Armstrong, and Juliana and Isla Hawk; and his siblings, Ron (Ann) Sutton and Karen Griffin. Services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2pm, preceded by visitation from 12pm until the time of service at Little and Sons Funeral Home.
