Charles Loren Romerill, 91, passed away, Friday, November 16, 2018. He was born April 13, 1927 in Vevay, Indiana to the late Charles M. and Goldie (Wheeler) Romerill. He is also preceded in death by his wife Virginia Milaree (Butler) Romerill; brother, Harold Romerill; and sister Mildred Walker. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII, a member of Buck Creek Christian Church, and the Acton Masonic Lodge where he was as a member of the Shriners and Scottish Rite. Charles was also a member of Teamsters 135 and enjoyed gardening and his independence.
He is survived by his son, Charles “Curt” Romerill (Cheryl McMahon); daughter Claudia Earnest; brother, Clair Romerill (Susan); sister, Minnie Beguin; granddaughters, Lisa Earnest and Leanne McArthy; and great grandson, Carl Joseph McArthy.
Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be Monday, November 19, 2018 at 7 pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest privately in Ghent Masonic Cemetery in Ghent, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to: Buck Creek Christian Church.
