James Douglas Burress

James D. "Jim" Burress, 60, of Franklin, IN passed away July 12, 2020. He was born in Madison, IN the son of the late Sam and Edith Burress. He was a Construction laborer with Laborer's Local #120. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda (Hogue) Burress in 2016, and brothers and sisters. Jim is survived by his daughters, Leslie McKinney and Jessica Frye; grandchildren, Addyson Frye, Nicholas Frye and Michael Rea; brothers and sisters and his girl friend Amy Luhman. A Celebration of Jim's life will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the service time at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, Indiana. The service will be livestreamed on Facebook and www.familyfuneralcareindy.com. Social distancing and face mask will be required. There is a limit of 50 people in the facility at a time.
