Kay Jean (Davis) Coffin

Kay Jean Coffin, 80, of Fishers, passed away on October 30, 2020. She was born on December 16, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Eugene and Ruth (Rhine) Davis. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1957. Kay married Bob Coffin on March 28, 1959.
Kay attended First Friends Church with her husband for many years. She worked as a legal secretary for Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan law firm for 22 years before retiring in 1989. During her retirement she became an avid seamstress, attending many craft fairs. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Kay is survived by her children, Janis (Wayne) Crawford and Jody Long; grandchildren, Laura and Maggie Crawford, Kelly and Keri Long, Haley Dunn and Joe and Kate Coffin; brother, Quentin (Ardith) Davis; daughter in law, Suzanne Coffin; and sister in law, Joan (Jim) Close. Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Coffin; son, David Coffin; and her parents, Eugene and Ruth Davis.
A visitation for Kay will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Feeney Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E. 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46220. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home, with additional visitation taking place from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
