Quentin Benito Francescon

Quentin Benito Francescon, Fishers, age 90, passed away on Friday December 28, 2018. Quentin was born November 23, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Regina (Graffitti) Francescon and Anthony Francescon. He is also preceded in death by brothers, Gino, Lino, and Anthony Francescon. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School and Tennessee Tech. He retired from the US Navy before becoming part owner in American Art and Mosaic Tile Company. He was proud to have recently been able to partake in the Honor Flight Program. He enjoyed attending the Indy 500 and Daytona 500 annually and had a love for the beach. He was also a Colts season ticket holder. Quentin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Lou (Hoeing) Francescon; daughters, Carol Bennett, Marlene Blackwell (Don), and Andrea Broderick (Kevin); sons, Thomas Francescon (Nancy), Quentin Francescon (Jacqueline), and Mark Francescon (Opal); grandchildren, Courtney Knight, Kimberly Kindrick, Ian Blackwell, Zachary Blackwell, Keegan Broderick, Brooke Francescon, Tommy Francescon, Tyler Francescon, Christian Francescon, and Josephine Francescon; great grandchild, Lincoln Knight; and beloved dog, Snow Flurry. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St. His Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Quentin's memory may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46220; and Humane Society of Indianapolis, 7929 N Michigan Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana 46268.
