Mrs. Rosalee Arnett, was born May 20, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed her life February 21, 2021.
Rosalee loving known as Rose, attended Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) and was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School.
Rose’s quench for education encouraged her to pursue a career in nursing where she worked at Wishard Hospital with Dr. Frank Johnson. During her nursing career Rose’s desire to work with children drove her to obtain a teaching degree which changed her career choice. Rose earned her Master’s degree in Education from Indiana University and went on to teach in her beloved Indianapolis Public System specializing in elementary education.
Rose was a member of Witherspoon Presbyterian Church well over fifty years. She was a member of the choir and taught Vacation Bible School. Rose was an advocate of the arts in which she enjoyed ballet, playing piano and flute. She also enjoyed attending musical concerts and loved to shop.
Services will be Monday March 1, 2021 at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Service starts at 11:00AM. Entombment will be at the Abbey Mausoleum at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
