Allen Wayne Shelby

Allen Wayne Shelby, 62, of Kokomo passed away Sunday September 15, 2019. He was born April 29, 1957 to the late Sherman and Betty Shelby in Kokomo. Allen married Josie (Caraveo) Shelby November 20, 2009 in Kokomo. She survives him. Allen graduated from Kokomo High School and then became a Truck driver. Since then he's worked for various trucking companies, including his most recent, Eikenberry Trucking. He was a member of the Kokomo VFW Post 1152. Allen enjoyed going deep sea fishing in Sarasota with his nephews. Those surviving Allen are his wife Josie, great granddaughter De'Nali Hall, two step sons Michael Harrison and Russell McCoy, sister Vickie Francis (David), and nephews Jason Boyll and Tom Boyll. A gathering of friends and family for Allen will take place Friday September 20, 2019 between 2pm and 4pm at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel. The Kokomo VFW Post 1152 will present Military Honors at 4pm.
